The 'House of Dream' is a 47 square meter space located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The project was completed in December 2017. The design team, including Hsiao-Wen Su and Ching-Yu Han, worked tirelessly to bring the clients' dreams to life. The design is characterized by its exposed-concrete ceiling, exotic-style cyan walls, white cultured-stone bar, and log kitchenware, setting it apart from other interior spaces.
The design's unique properties extend beyond its aesthetic appeal. The space outside the front door, adorned with plant walls on each side, is versatile and can be used for multiple purposes, including parking. Inside the entrance, the meeting area is well-equipped with a big-log table and a TV screen, while the bar area is adaptable for movable tables and chairs.
One of the key features of the 'House of Dream' is its ample natural light, thanks to the ceiling windows and glass curtains. The design team also skillfully manipulated floor heights to create a visually captivating space. This office, designed for an interior design team, is not just a workspace but a place for dream fulfillment and life realization.
The 'House of Dream' project faced its share of challenges. However, the team's creativity and technical expertise helped them overcome these hurdles, resulting in a space full of amiability and charm. The project's success is evident in its recognition with the prestigious Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2018.
In conclusion, the 'House of Dream' is a testament to Shao-Kuo Wu's innovative approach to interior design. It is a space that not only serves its functional purpose but also inspires and amazes with its unique aesthetic and design features. The project is a shining example of how interior design can be used to create spaces that fulfill dreams and enhance lives.
